Jewish Financiers In America: From Schiff to Madoff

On December 11th, 2008, the world was shocked when Jewish financier Bernard “Bernie” Madoff was arrested and would later be convicted for running the largest “Ponzi” scheme that the world has ever known. Like many Jews, I worried that this arrest, coming soon after the bursting of the housing bubble and at a time when the world faced a new depression would usher in a new age of anti-Semitism, that the world would focus all its anger on Jews, reviving the myths of Jewish control of the world’s financial markets. That hasn’t happened, at least not to a measurable degree, but I knew at that moment that I wanted to explore the real story behind The Jewish Financiers.
